Register for our November METROPOLE Salon!

Join us for an evening of food and drink and a chance to meet other METROPOLE readers, editors and the international community of Vienna! We’ll be discussing our November issue with the theme Viennese Schmäh!

We are excited to welcome our special guest speaker, Patrick Lamb.

Further speakers are Andreas Rainer, writer of this month’s cover story and founder of the Wiener Alltagspoeten, a platform dedicated to the Viennese Schmäh. He will give us some insights on the local humor and might even crack a joke or two himself.

Our editor in chief, Dardis McNamee, will share with you how she got acquainted with Schmäh when she first came to Vienna; our front section managing editor, Benjamin Wolf, will talk about press freedom in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe; and our writer David Mathews will share his insights on Vienna’s new and stunning Bruegel exhibition.

Space is limited, so please register soon to save your spot.

We look forward to seeing you on November 14th!
