A green oasis in the heart of the 7th district, Calienna is a concept store/café/gallery founded last year by Miri and Christian Cervantes, a shop that allows you to pick up a new favorite plant and a cup of coffee all at once. Combining plants, sociability and creativity, the Cervantes have created a safe place where people can reconnect with themselves. Specializing in plant arrangements, Calienna stresses the importance of inclusivity and openness on Feb. 14, emphasizing that Valentine’s day “should really be about celebrating love in all its forms.”

Doll’s Blumen

Founded and run by Karin and Bernd Doll, this family business offers elaborate and colorful bouquets arranged with over 25 years of experience. Here you also get high-quality advice, along with a warm welcomes from Henri – a Boston terrier that serves as Doll’s doorman. Zweigstelle Atelier

Blurring the lines between flower arrangement and art, Andreas Bamesberger and his team at Zweigstelle create impressive avant-garde floral designs that channel the eruptive and erotic essence of flowers into artful creations. For Valentine’s day, Zweigstelle will offer a huge variety of artful bouquets – and don’t forget to take a minute to stand and revel in the sights and smells.

Freelance florist Thomas Tergowitsch has a remarkable eye for detail and color, creating his arrangements with skill, enthusiasm and a penchant for regional flowers. Having previously collaborated with the world-renowned Gregor Lersch, he returned to his hometown of Vienna in 2014, and is now offering seminars and workshops, as well as custom arrangements for events and shops and hand-tied bouquets.

Bringing a heady mix of verdant colors, charming potted plants and good coffee to the 15th district, Miraflores shares its premises with the artisanal coffee roaster and café Gota, thus offering delights for all the senses. Behind its aquamarine façade, you’ll find a huge variety of flowers and potted plants, surrounded by the ever-present aroma of fresh-ground coffee mixing with the scent of scores of blossoms.
