Right at the gateway to the scenic Wachau, the leafy grounds of picturesque castle Grafenegg provide an atmospheric backdrop for this renowned music festival, with concerts taking place in its state-of-the-art open-air amphitheatre, the Wolkenturm (cloud tower).
Now going into its 15th iteration, highlights this year include the Vienna, Munich, and Czech Philharmonic Orchestras, violinist Janine Jansen, several concerts by pianist Rudolf Buchbinder and the 12 cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic.
