From our features, reviews, and live events to Survival Guides and daily news coverage, more recently surrounding COVID-19 measures. We have aimed to serve you and your needs as best we can.
It’s been a tough 20 months since the start of the pandemic. It was an unprecedented time of readership growth, bringing Metropole 10 times the traffic and doubling our subscriber numbers. But that was only half the story. The pandemic also brought a near 80% drop in advertising, which had been 60% of Metropole’s revenue. Another large share was from our sell-out events.
In the meantime, Metropole is making some changes to bolster us through these hard times – if ever there was a black swan event, the pandemic surely qualifies – and make it possible to grow and adapt to today’s ever-changing media landscape.
We are working day and night to find the best way forward.
We are grateful to our loyal readers and look forward to great new things to come in 2022.
Have a wonderful holiday season and as always,
Don’t be a stranger,
Maggie Childs, Publisher[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”FAQs” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:50|text_align:left”][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Print Magazine” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1638875341734{margin-bottom: 7px !important;margin-left: 10px !important;}” el_class=”faq_headings”][vc_toggle title=”Is Metropole shutting down?” style=”rounded_outline”]Metropole will be ceasing production of its print editions as of January 2022.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”When will I receive the latest print issue?” style=”rounded_outline”]Metropole will discontinue its print issue as of January 2022.
