Metropole Journalism Championships

Metropole and American International School Vienna are giving one young journalist their chance at getting published.

Since April 2017 Editor in Chief Margaret Childs has been working with a bunch of budding high school students, running workshops and teaching them how to research, structure and write a story.

We’ve narrowed down the group to three finalists. It’s now time for you, our readers, to choose whose story will make it into print.

UPDATE: Voting is now closed, our winner has been chosen! Congratulations to Yakob Reed!  His article Take this Waltz – and Don’t Forget to Flush will be published in the July/August issue of METROPOLE! Subscribe or order your single issue here.

Voting will take place from the 13th of June, 2017 until Monday, the 19th. Please choose which story you enjoyed the most from the drop-down menu below and click send once to submit your vote.
