Nocturnal Animals by Fashion Designer-Turned-Film Director Tom Ford

Tom Ford’s second film is slick and stylized like Italian leather

After making waves with his debut A Single Man, fashion designer-turned-film director Tom Ford follows up with a neo-noir psycho thriller. Based on a novel by Austin Wright, Nocturnal Animals delves into the relationship of Susan Morrow (Amy Adams) and Edward Sheffield (Jake Gyllenhaal), a divorced couple estranged for years.

Despite becoming a successful art dealer, Susan finds her new life and husband unsatisfying. She unexpectedly receives a book dedicated to her, written by her ex. Spurred by the murder story, Susan finds herself reevaluating the choices she made and is finally forced to confront her past.

Starts Dec 22, Artis, Burg, Filmcasino, Haydn
