Special Event: A Livable City

The METROPOLE Community was to our Special Event A Livable City on October 3 to celebrate both the publication of METROPOLE’s latest issue, Livable City Masterpiece and to enjoy one of Vienna’s prized museums! It was a pleasure for us to welcome so many Metropolitans at the beautiful MAK – Museum of Applied Arts and to see so many happy new faces!

Over 250 guests joined us to celebrate the livability of our city. Thank you to our five amazing speakers who introduced us to their various approaches on how to make a city livable: Hironobu Kondo of ANA – All Nippon AirwaysLin Reimann and Manon Roeleveld of The Student HotelSindre Wimberger of WienBot (now also available in English) and Eugene Quinn of spaceandplace. Here’s the link to his TED-Talk, which was mentioned on stage: Want creativity? Then WALK on the wild side”.Be sure not to miss out next time and join us at one of our upcoming salons in the summer or at the next special event in the fall.
