Salon: Games, Gaming and Gambling

The June edition of METROPOLE Salons revolved around Vienna’s history of games and its contemporary culture of gaming and gambling. Metropolitans, writers and other players in the game met over tasty drinks, scintillating conversation and an introduction to Austria’s best games, like Schnapsen, or Mensch ärgere dich nicht.

Our host for the night will be the newly opened hotel Max Brown 7th District – a grand home-base for your Vienna adventures, set right in the heart of the city’s creative center “Neubau”.

The METROPOLE Salon is a monthly get-together for Metropolitans to socialize and to meet our writers and our team. They can also bring along friends to get acquainted with the magazine and the community. It always takes place at a new location in Vienna with wine, music and great conversation. A few journalists present their stories from the current issue and we invite prominent personalities to give a short talk.
