Salon: A Livable Wonderland

On October 3, 2019, METROPOLE held a salon in celebration of the publication of our Fall Edition City Planning Masterpiece. This issue showcases the clockwork behind the city on the Danube: where pristine parks, public art galleries and spotless streets are run by systems and constructs that often remain invisible to the naked eye.

Our hosts for the night were the newly opened restaurant Happy Rabbit & the children’s attraction The Alice Fairytale. While the little ones get shrunk down and take an adventurous trip into wonderland, their parents can enjoy exquisite Georgian, Russian and Italian cuisine.

The METROPOLE Salon is a monthly get-together for Metropolitans to socialize and to meet our writers and our team. They can also bring along friends to get acquainted with the magazine and the community. It always takes place at a new location in Vienna with wine, music and great conversation. A few journalists present their stories from the current issue and we invite prominent personalities to give a short talk.
